Juba talks between the Government of Uganda and the rebel Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) is in recess after a couple of weeks of quite intense discussions. Many observers and victims of the 20 year war anxiously wait for the resumption hoping that finally an end is brought to this human tragedy that the international community has brushed aside for so many years. Much still needs to be done though as the the negotiating teams, particularly on the LRA side struggle with the enormousity of the task before them. Whilst the Uganda Government side has a well organised team in Juba, as well as a back up team in Uganda the LRA team appear ill equiped and less supported.
